Coronated in 2017 at 39 years of age Revering and worshipping THE SPH greatly, Palanivelu Swaminathan humbly offered the Ruling Seat of the Kingdom of Thanjavur, the Karanthai Sarvajnapeetha, to THE SPH in the year 2017 CE, to carry the royal legacy of this kingdom forward.

Coronation

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam His Divine Holiness Bhagavān Nithyānanda Paramashivam was coronated as the Pontiff of the KAILĀSA Paramparagatha Sūrya Vaṃśa Sarvajnapeetha Chola Sāmrājyam (spiritual and religious kingdom) ruling from Karanthai in Thanjavur, South India.

Social Welfare Programs

Women empowerment by offering spiritual classes and counseling for women conducted by female sanyasis of Sovereign Order of KAILĀSA’s Nithyānanda
• Humanitarian aid through regular service of free meals

Upon the SPH’s coronation, the kingdom of Karanthai and its associated properties saw a reinvigoration of spiritual activities with anna dhaan (food charity), pooja (rituals for peace), and free classes for the local community

Ongoing Persecution against the Indigenous Kingdom

Due to Hindumesia State influence, there has been ongoing violent attempts to expropriate the land and proprieties of the Karanthai kingdom,resulting in assaults, sexual violence, and the dispossession of ancient heritage. It has affected KAILĀSA’s ability to serve the local community and to perform the customary religious activities.
